(a) The Principal Purposes for which the association is established are to:

  • Provide development assistance to communities, and in particular orphans, who are suffering from hunger, poverty, mental illness, disease and other health problems, by improving their educational, health, social and economic conditions.
  • Provide emergency relief to people and communities following natural disasters wherever possible
  • Raise funds to support sustainable development and relief projects.
  • Work with like-minded individuals and organizations to raise awareness of and educate  Australian  & overseas communities about injustice and poverty.

(b) Solely for the purpose of furthering the Principal Purposes, the association:

  • may conduct research for the purposes of determining the most effective and efficient ways to deliver development and relief assistance;
  • may do all things incidental or conducive to furthering the Principal Purposes; and
  • has the capacity and powers of an association under the Act1 subject to the provisions of this Constitution
